Professional Audio & Television has today announced the appointment of Adam Langham to head their technical engineering department in Sydney.
After having registered unprecedented growth in 2014, the company was looking for a technical lead who had the experience and expertise to manage the technical aspect of large projects, while also overlooking the design and supply of cutting edge technical solutions. In its 5th year of operation since being incorporated in 2010, Professional Audio & Television Pty Ltd has fast become a boutique broadcast supplier and integrator, having supplied technology solutions to the largest broadcasters and OB providers in the country. Adam will be responsible for the running and management of the technical service department at PAT.
Adam’s career in broadcast spans from prestigious production facilities such as Silk Studios, to solutions providers like Videocraft, and also National Networks such as Channel 7.
“During a time when networks are looking at IP broadcast infrastructures, new transmission protocols, delivery methods and simplifying workflows through the implementation of control systems like VSM, the engineering advice and guidance we provide to our customers is more important than ever, ” says Meredith Buckton – Operations Manager at PAT. She continues “Our manufacturers are really pushing the envelope when it comes to setting new standards and being on the cutting edge of technology, while shaping the future of broadcast. We believe it is imperative that we are able to provide the best possible advice to our customers and educate them about the possibilities that our product range offers.”
“Having joined the PAT team, I am excited to be part of one of Australia’s leading broadcast solutions providers. The portfolio of brands PAT represents in Australia makes for interesting and challenging projects, that’s for sure.” Mr Langham continues. “I like that, as a broadcast solution provider, PAT becomes part of the customer’s technical decision making process. That means system design, technical recommendations, and of course successful implementation, needs to be closely managed in order to deliver world class installations to our customers.”
